Eureka College Announces 2018 Hall of Fame Class
EUREKA – The Eureka College Department of Athletics is proud to introduce its 2018 Hall of Fame Class. Ryan Brewster '96 (football, baseball) and James Humphrey '65 (men's basketball) will join former women's basketball head coach Sandy Schuster (1991-07) and former softball head coach Karen Sweitzer (1991-2008) as individuals voted into the Hall of Fame. The 1975 men's golf team and the 1978-79 men's basketball team will be enshrined as teams and Eureka College History Professor Emeritus Dr. Richard Sanders will be inducted as an honorary member. The group will be formally inducted during an Oct. 6 ceremony at 8:30 a.m. at the Reagan Athletic Complex.

Eureka College to Dedicate Softball Facility for Legendary Coach Karen Sweitzer
EUREKA – Eureka College will dedicate its on-campus softball facility for former longtime head coach Karen Sweitzer at a Sept. 15 ceremony. Sweitzer is the winningest female head coach in Eureka College athletics history and has been a member of the Eureka College faculty in physical education, health and kinesiology since 1990.

ST. ANN, Mo. – Eureka College senior shortstop Kerrigan Dura (Edwards, Ill./Brimfield H.S.) has been voted to the All-St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference First Team and sophomores Morgan Osborn (Washington, Ill./Washington H.S.) and Erin Smith (Dunlap, Ill./Dunlap H.S.) were named to the All-SLIAC Third Team, according to an announcement Thursday night at the SLIAC Tournament at ABC Park in St. Ann, Mo.

Red Devils Suffer Losses at Fontbonne to Close Regular Season
ST. ANN, Mo. – The Eureka College softball team played the final two games of the 2018 regular season on Saturday afternoon at Fontbonne, dropping both ends of a St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference doubleheader to the Griffins at ABC Park in St. Ann, Mo. Fontbonne came back for a 4-3 win in game one and broke a late tie to win game two, 7-4.
