EUREKA -- Finlandia defeated the Eureka College women's soccer team 13-0 Thursday afternoon at McKinzie Field.

The defeat dropped the Red Devils to 0-2-0. 

Rylie Steele took a feed from Alexia Gonzales and deposited the match winner at 9:41. Kirsten L'Esperance added four goals in the Lions' win.

Abby Swope (Canton, Ill./Canton H.S.) made 22 saves for the hosts, tied for seventh most in a match in Eureka women's soccer history.

Eureka will host Alverno Friday night on the turf at McKinzie Field. Kickoff is set for 7 p.m.
