JACKSONVILLE, Ill. -- The Eureka College men's basketball team will play its first of two road games this week against the MacMurray Highlanders in St. Louis Intercollegiate Athletic Conference action. Tip-off is set for 8 p.m. Wednesday night in Jacksonville, Ill.

The series between these two schools began in 1974 and Eureka leads, 26-24.  The two squads competed as Prairie College Conference rivals before MacMurray became a charter member of the SLIAC in 1990.  The Highlanders' jump to the SLIAC forced the two squads to meet only twice from 1991 until 2007.

Eureka will try to deal the Highlanders their first home loss of the 2015-16 season on Wednesday and look to sweep the season series against Mac for the first time since the 2007-08 season.
