EC Men’s Basketball Coach Chip Wilde Releases Summer 2022 Camp Dates
EUREKA — Eureka College men's basketball head coach Chip Wilde released the dates and details for his annual series of summer youth basketball camps on Monday.
All camps will be held inside Christine Bonati Bollwinkle Arena and Convocation Center on the campus of Eureka College. Wilde will host a Father-Child Clinic on June 18, two sessions of the popular Boys & Girls Day Camp from July 11 through July 14 and from July 18 through July 21, and an Advanced Skills Camp on Aug. 1.
The Father-Child Clinic is open to all boys and girls entering first through sixth grades and will start with registration at 9 a.m. on the morning of Saturday, June 18. The camp day will run from 9:30 a.m. until noon.
The Boys & Girls Day Camp will start with check-in at 8 a.m. on July 11 and July 18. The camp open is open to all boys and girls entering first through eighth grades. There are 150 spots available for each session.
The camp day will run from 9 a.m. until 5:15 p.m. on Monday through Thursday. Lunch will be provided on these days. The gym will be open at 8 a.m. for those who need to be dropped off before 9 a.m., or are interested in supervised early-bird shooting. A "team" discount is available for $100 per camper if five or more players register together, and a multi-session discount is available for $100 for campers who sign up for multiple camps.
To sign up for the camp, send the registration form and payment to the Eureka College men's basketball office. Campers may also register at the door during the first day of camp if there are still spots available. Payment must be received at the start of camp to participate.
The Advanced Skills camp will be hosted by Wilde on Monday, Aug. 1 and is open to all boys entering ninth through 12th grades from 6-9 p.m.. The camp cost is $30 and will include a T-shirt, 2 ½ hours of instruction from college coaches and players, and a 40-minute scrimmage using college rules and regulations.

Wilde is the Eureka Basketball Camp Director and is in his 16th year as the head men's basketball coach at Eureka College and his 34th season in college basketball. Coach Wilde has 32 years of experience running youth camps & clinics in Illinois, Michigan, Texas and New Jersey. He has 10 years of experience working the IHSA "Learning from the Legends" youth clinics and 12 years of experience working the NCAA Final Four Youth clinics. At these clinics, he has worked with some of the nation's top coaches.
