Eureka Men’s Soccer Announces 2026 Schedule
EUREKA, Ill. – First-year Eureka College head men's soccer coach Colin Nelson has announced the Red Devils' 2026 schedule.
Eureka will tune up for the regular season with three exhibition contests, beginning at home against Illinois Wesleyan on Aug. 24 before traveling to Augustana on Aug. 27. The Red Devils wrap up preseason play at home against Kankakee on Aug. 30.
The regular season begins on the road at Concordia Chicago on Sept. 2 as Eureka looks to build on last season's 3-0 victory over the Cougars. The Red Devils remain on the road Sept. 5 at Monmouth, seeking revenge after a 2-1 home loss to the Fighting Scots in 2025.
Eureka continues its nonconference schedule with a trip to Andrews on Sept. 9 for the first of two meetings against the Cardinals before returning home to host Buena Vista on Sept. 11 and Grinnell on Sept. 13.
The Red Devils then embark on a four-match road swing, beginning at Grace Christian on Sept. 16 after the teams battled to a scoreless draw last season. Eureka travels to Franklin on Sept. 19 in a rematch of last year's 4-3 Red Devil victory before visiting Maranatha Baptist on Sept. 22 in search of a third consecutive win over the Sabercats.
SLIAC play begins Sept. 26 at Westminster. The teams played to a 0-0 draw during the 2025 season.
Eureka returns home for a four-match homestand, opening with a conference showdown against MUW on Sept. 30 as the Red Devils look for a third straight victory over the Owls. A nonconference matchup against Kuyper follows on Oct. 3 after Eureka posted a 14-0 victory in the previous meeting in 2025. The Red Devils then host Andrews on Oct. 4 before returning to conference action against Blackburn on Oct. 7. Eureka earned a 1-0 victory over the Beavers last season.
The schedule intensifies with three consecutive conference road matches, beginning Oct. 10 at Lyon in a rematch of last season's SLIAC Tournament quarterfinal, where the Scots defeated the Red Devils 3-1 before going on to capture the conference tournament championship and earn the league's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament.
Eureka continues conference play Oct. 14 at Webster, the SLIAC regular-season runner-up in 2025, before traveling to Spalding on Oct. 17. The Red Devils defeated the Golden Eagles 4-1 in last season's meeting.
The Red Devils conclude the regular season with a three-match homestand, hosting Lawrence in their final nonconference contest on Oct. 20 before welcoming Principia on Oct. 24. The regular season closes Oct. 28 against defending SLIAC regular-season champion Greenville.
At the conclusion of the regular season, the top six teams in the SLIAC standings will advance to the conference tournament. The tournament champion will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Men's Soccer Championship.
