Company Earns All-SLIAC Honors for Second Consecutive Season
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – Eureka's Alyssa Company (Lincoln, Ill./Lincoln Community) has been named to the All-SLIAC Third Team, earning conference honors for the second consecutive season. With the recognition, Company becomes only the fourth Red Devil ever to earn All-SLIAC honors twice and the first since Courtney Kincaid achieved the distinction in 2011–12. She joins fellow two-time honorees Kylie Bahorik (2007, 2008) and Heather Myers (2008, 2009).
Company delivered another standout campaign for the Red Devils in 2025, ranking among the league's best in several statistical categories. She finished eighth in the SLIAC in total kills (258) and fourth in kills per set (2.87). From the service line, she tallied 43 aces, the seventh-most in the conference. Her 0.48 aces per set tied for fifth in the league.
The sophomore led Eureka across the board, pacing the team in kills (258), kills per set (2.87), service aces (43), service aces per set (0.48), solo blocks (19), points (327.0), and points per set (3.6). Her all-around production was pivotal for the Red Devils this season and further established her as one of the top performers in the conference.
Eureka senior Claire Schaffner (Delavan, Ill./Delavan) was also selected as the Red Devils' representative on the SLIAC All-Sportsmanship Team.
