Women's Volleyball Announces 2026 Schedule

EUREKA, Ill. – The Eureka College women's volleyball team has announced its schedule for the 2026 season.

The Red Devils will prepare for the season with a preseason scrimmage at Saint Mary-of-the-Woods on Aug. 25 before hosting the annual Maroon vs. White Scrimmage on Aug. 28.

Eureka opens the regular season with four consecutive home matches, beginning against Moody Bible on Sept. 3 before hosting Dominican on Sept. 4. The Red Devils defeated the Stars in four sets during last season's meeting. The opening homestand concludes Sept. 5 with a tri-match featuring Rockford and Principia.

The nonconference schedule continues with several road tournaments throughout September. Eureka makes its first road trip of the season Sept. 9 at Concordia Chicago before traveling to Franklin for four matches Sept. 11-12 against Mount St. Joseph, Kenyon, Aurora and the host Grizzlies. The Red Devils remain on the road Sept. 16 at Knox before heading to another weekend tournament at Lake Forest, where they will face Alverno, Illinois Tech, and the host Foresters on Sept. 18-19.

SLIAC play begins at home on Sept. 25 against Lyon before Eureka hosts MUW and Webster the following day. Conference action continues Sept. 30 with a road trip to Greenville, which captured both the 2025 SLIAC regular season and tournament championships.

October features a demanding stretch of conference competition mixed with nonconference tournaments. The Red Devils travel to Principia on Oct. 3 for matches against the host Panthers and Hannibal-LaGrange before heading to Alverno on Oct. 10 to face the host Inferno and UW-River Falls.

Conference play continues Oct. 17 when Eureka travels to MUW to take on the host Owls and Blackburn. The Red Devils then head to Westminster for another conference weekend, opening against the host Blue Jays on Oct. 23 before facing Webster and Westminster on Oct. 24.

The final weeks of the regular season include both nonconference and conference contests. Eureka travels to Beloit on Oct. 28 before returning to SLIAC play Oct. 30 in Carlinville, Illinois, for neutral site matches against Spalding and Lyon. The Red Devils wrap up the weekend Oct. 31 at Illinois College, where they will face Knox and the host Lady Blues.

Eureka closes the home portion of its schedule Nov. 4 with a conference matchup against defending SLIAC champion Greenville before wrapping up the regular season Nov. 7 at Spalding with conference matches against the host Golden Eagles and Blackburn.

At the conclusion of the regular season, the top six teams in the SLIAC standings will advance to the conference tournament. The tournament champion will earn the conference's automatic bid to the NCAA Division III Women's Volleyball Championship.
