Women’s Wrestling Lands Seven on SLIAC All-Conference Team
ST. LOUIS, Mo. – After a strong showing at the SLIAC Women's Wrestling Championship, seven Eureka women's wrestlers have earned SLIAC All-Conference honors.
Leading the All-Conference selections was Tayla Phillips, who secured First-Team honors after capturing the SLIAC individual championship at 207 pounds. Phillips received a bye to the final and won by decision to claim the title.
Natallie Tobuk (131 pounds), McKenzie Cook (145 pounds), Sofia Kawano (103 pounds), and Madison Farris (160 pounds) each earned Second-Team All-Conference recognition after advancing to their respective finals.
Eureka's Third-Team honorees included Kyley Bair (110 pounds) and Alex Parks (180 pounds). Both athletes battled through their brackets to finish third overall in their weight classes, adding to the Red Devils' strong presence on the podium.
Alex Parks was also selected as the Red Devils' representative on the All-Sportsmanship Team.
