Cross Country Competes at Brissman-Lundeen Meet

ROCK ISLAND, Ill. – The Eureka cross country team participated in the Brissman-Lundeen Meet on Saturday. 

On the women's side, Emily Baker (Washington, Ill./Washington) led the way with a time of 28:14.0 in the 6k. Rachel Fisher (Metamora, Ill./Metamora) followed closely behind with a time of 29:22.2. Isabella Carbajal (Chicago, Ill./Shepard) was the third finisher for the Red Devils, coming in at 34:48.7. Odessa Grove (Lewistown, Ill./Lewistown) rounded out the field for Eureka with a time of 39:55.1.

On the men's side, Bailey Webster (East Peoria, Ill./East Peoria) once again finished first for the Red Devils, clocking an 8k time of 29:40.5. Tony DeLira (Chicago, Ill./Alcott) finished shortly behind at 30:25.8, while Hayden Skaggs (Mansfield, Texas/Mansfield) rounded out the field with a time of 49:00.5.
