Eureka XC Competes in Deep Field at Bradley
PEORIA, Ill. – The Eureka cross country team took on a deep and competitive field at the Bradley Intercollegiate on Friday, racing against over 230 runners in the men's 8K and more than 190 in the women's 3-mile event.
The meet featured programs from NCAA Division I, II, III, NAIA, and junior colleges, including fellow SLIAC members Greenville and Webster.
Eureka's men entered with ambitious goals and came away with several strong performances and personal milestones.
Bailey Webster (East Peoria, Ill./East Peoria) led the Red Devils with a time of 27:56.30, placing as the second-fastest SLIAC runner in the field and setting a personal course record.

Jose Amador (Kempton, Ill./Tri-Point) finished in 34:37.00 in his senior night race, where he was honored for his leadership and impact on the program.
"Jose is in his 3rd year as a captain and there is not enough space in this recap to cover what he has and continues to mean to the program," said head coach Chris Robinson. "He is a leader on the team, and on campus. We have been blessed here at Eureka to have him as a member of our community."
